Will Lawyers be Ai4ward?

Law firms are likely to be slow to embrace AI as a tool to change the practice of law. The incentives aren’t right for firms and lawyers. These new tools are likely to REDUCE billable hours. Further, lawyers are conservative by nature. We expect there will be strong resistance and push back against AI in the law. In fact, it seems only 3% of firms so far are using AI in their practice and over 80% of law firm partners have concerns about AI. This data and the chart above and below come from a recent survey of 440 lawyers by Thomson Reuters.

At Ai4 Legal, we believe that AI can improve the practice of law, save time and lower legal spending - and we’re looking for the others that agree. If you are bullish on AI in the law, please reach out and get in touch at D at ai4.legal.
